Celebrating the Resilience of the LAC COVID Classes

Dani Esperanza • August 15, 2025

A Long-Awaited Celebration

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, we’ll gather at the Athens Armory to honor the LAC classes whose graduations were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the challenges of those years were unprecedented, the leadership, resilience, and community spirit of these graduates never wavered. This special evening will finally give us the chance to celebrate them — in person, together.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, September 18, 2025
  • Time: 5pm-8pm
  • Location: Athens Armory
  • Guests: Graduates may bring up to 2 guests
  • RSVP: Online here

The evening will be filled with reconnection, recognition, and reflection on the lasting impact these leaders have made in Athens County and beyond. We can’t wait to share stories, honor achievements, and toast to a future shaped by their continued commitment to our community.

If you are a graduate from one of these classes — or know someone who is — please be sure this invitation finds its way to them. We want every graduate to have the opportunity to take part in this well-earned celebration.

Let’s fill the Athens Armory with the energy, pride, and friendship that define Leadership Athens County.

Mark your calendars, RSVP, and join us in celebrating the LAC COVID Classes!
