Supporting Belonging Across Athens County
Strong communities are places where everyone feels they belong.
The Pride Fund supports community-driven efforts that strengthen belonging, expand opportunity, and create welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals and families throughout Athens County.
Pride is more than a celebration. It is neighbors supporting neighbors. It is volunteers showing up. It is local leadership creating opportunities for connection, understanding, and community.
Because of the generosity of donors and volunteers, the Pride Fund continues to support initiatives that foster inclusion and strengthen the social fabric of our county.
There are many ways to participate in this work, whether through giving, volunteering, serving on an advisory committee, or helping create welcoming spaces within your own community.

At ACF, our vision is for everyone in Athens County to be engaged and working together to ensure a healthy, inclusive, thriving community for all.
We believe communities already possess the wisdom, talent, and experience needed to address many of the challenges they face. The question is often not whether solutions exist, but how we create the conditions for people to work together effectively.
Through our Co-Creation approach, residents, organizations, institutions, and community leaders come together to identify shared priorities, develop solutions, and coordinate action. By building relationships across sectors and creating opportunities for participation, communities can achieve greater impact than any one organization could accomplish alone.
